Summary

After the news of her father’s death, Bryn Woods is hit with more heartbreak when she realizes her boyfriend, Tyler, and his sister, her best friend Charlotte, have deserted her– leaving town unexpectedly on the day her father died.

Four years later, set in present day, Bryn is needed back home to settle the last of her father’s estate. Not being able to bear the possibility of losing her childhood home, she permanently moves back to Savannah, GA. Memories and old friends slowly come back into her world, including the love of her life and best friend whom she has never been able to let go of. Hesitant as ever, Bryn lets the people of her past back into her heart as she graduallyallows old wounds to heal.

However, something is strange about Tyler, and Bryn can't seem to pinpoint what it might be. Secrets from Tyler's past start to reveal themselves, and Bryn realizes that there is more to his disappearance than she thought. Tyler has secrets of his own - secrets connected to the death of Bryn’s father that Tyler didn't even know he kept.
